Tuhi Mai, Tuhi Atu - Write to me...Write to you!

Tuhi Mai, Tuhi Atu We are very excited to shortly begin our new class blogging programme and hope to build our confidence and our understanding of Learn Create Share over the year. We are ready as a class to connect, collaborate, support our cybersmart learning, and utilise our classroom blog as a powerful tool with you and hope that you will find it engaging and inspiring through reading and writing the comments we make and those you leave behind on our class (and in time) individual blogs. By using Tuhi Mai, Tuhi Atu we will harness our understanding of Learn, Create, Share and we are confident that with an authentic audience who will regularly comment, the learning we are sharing will develop too. Welcome to our Tuhi Mai, Tuhi Atu team...we are so excited to get to know you and share our learning. We hope that we can create new ideas to support our connections and collaborations together. Lets write to me, write to you

  1. Kia Ora Room 7, we are Room 2 from Elgin School in Gisborne. We have been looking at your blog and the awesome learning and mahi happening in your class.
We had a quick look at your school using Google Earth - we noticed its much bigger than our school, and it looks like your near a busy road. We're lucky our school is down a very quiet street, with hardly any traffic. Most of us walk to school.
We hope you have a lovely day. We think your Art looks nice and beautiful! We look forward to seeing more of your blog and talking with you all.

  2. Good Morning Room 2.

Welcome to our Blog and thank you for your kind comment. Room 7 are having a great time creating colourful pastel drawings. We have just completed a series on 'hot and cold colours', that was both inspirational and great fun! Once the pictures are displayed, we will take photographs and upload them onto our blog.

Well done researching Google Earth and using it to explore the size and surrounding landscape of Glen Taylor. We are very lucky to have a large grass field in front of the school building, for the children to play sport and enjoy the outdoors during their playtime.

Stay in touch and have a great day.
